Hi! Hello!
Andrea, Reward Music Product Specialist, back again to fill you in on some new features!

GENRE

Big upgrades are coming to the Reward Music website in the next couple weeks and one of them will be the ability for music fans to sort the music by genre.

We have added some new controls for you, and this is how you manage them...

Step One: 
We'll start by going to the dashboard/admin side of your website.



Step Two: 
Now we'll go to our Site Settings 

Step Three: 
From there you'll go to your general settings

Step Four: 
From that page you'll scroll to the bottom to the Artist Directory where you'll now see Genre and Additional genres





Step Five: 
Simply just selecting whichever overarching genre you fall under, and any others that you want to include in the additional genres, and you are all set! 

Step Six: 
And then, as a reminder, don't forget to hit update to save those changes :) 

ADDITIONAL PLACES TO SEPARATE BY GENRE:

Let's say your music genre varies album to album or track to track.  What if your metal album contains one track of traditional folk songs?

No worries - we thought of that!

If you just go to Content- Audio (aka- where all of your music lives)

Then click edit on the song or album...



You'll see that you can separate genre out from that page as well!



This should be a great, additional way to help new fans scrolling through Reward Music to find you!
