Chapters and Navigation

You can now add chapters with timestamps to any video. Fans see a chapter list below the player and can jump directly to any section with a single click. Without chapters, a 45-minute live set is a single block of content that fans either watch from the start or skip entirely. With chapters, that same video becomes a navigable catalogue.

Chapters turn passive viewing into active browsing. Fans stay longer because they can find exactly what they want, and they return because they know they can navigate your content quickly.

Captions and Subtitles

Upload standard VTT caption files to any video and fans can toggle captions on or off during playback. Subtitle placement has been refined so text never overlaps the player controls.

Captions make your content accessible to fans who are deaf or hard of hearing, viewers in noisy environments, and international fans who follow along better with text. Every video you caption reaches a wider audience — and research consistently shows that captioned videos have higher completion rates, even among viewers who aren't hearing impaired.

Thumbnail Picker and Timeline Previews

When you upload a video, the system automatically generates frames from the transcoded file. Instead of uploading a separate screenshot, pick the best frame directly from a visual grid. No more hunting for that perfect thumbnail in an external tool.

For your fans, hovering over the progress bar now shows lightweight thumbnail previews of the content at that point. Viewers can scrub through visually before jumping to a specific moment — the same experience they expect from major video platforms. This works automatically on uploaded videos once they've been processed, with zero setup on your part.

Video Playlists

A new playlist manager lets you organise videos into curated collections. Instead of fans seeing a reverse-chronological list of uploads, they see intentional groupings that guide them toward the content you most want them to experience.

Upload and Walk Away

When uploading a new video, check the "Auto-submit" option and the form will automatically save a few seconds after the upload finishes — with a brief countdown and cancel button so you can stop it if needed. Fill in the title, tick the box, and move on to other work while the video uploads and processes in the background. Especially useful for longer videos where upload times stretch into several minutes.
