That's the purple guitar with black tape on the headstock (Kramer) that EVH brought to our house. Must have been right around the same time frame.
When I saw the picture, I was immediately reminded of you telling that story. I had to post it.

It looks like this is the same guitar that received a vinyl stripe job. I think it has a Rockinger trem on it.
