Reward Music

My sister and her grandkids went to the Stock Show in Denver and saw the wonderful big horses.  One was being led into having a bath, and his hooves made the most wonderful sound.  ....Meanwhile, I am working on a set of tutorials to improve my mixing, so I created a piece that I wouldn't mind listening to for thousands of times.  For me to get the most out of the course, I needed to start with something that would contain a murky background, a shrill melody, and some punchy, sporadic percussive parts.  I used a coyote song for the melody, a portion of my sheep Nook's call for the background which had some random knocks, and the horse clops at the original sound, and also  down an octave, and then worked to balance all those sounds.   My intent was to have the horses enter from one side and move off into the misty distance on the other.   This is the final mix.
